Obituary of Lenora Rendon Mallison

Our Beloved Lenora Rendon Mallison, age 97, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday August 29, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Nathan Lorenzo Mallison; son Carlos Velasquez; grandson Juan Carlos Velasquez; siblings Alfred Rendon Jr., Leandro Rendon, Lelia Rendon Moran, Leo Rendon, Fannie Reyna, John Rendon, Mildred Saldaña, and Alfred Rendon.

She is survived by children Olga Velasquez, Gloria Velasquez, and Lelia Velasquez; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side located at 6204 South First Street. This will conclude services until Friday October 12, 2018.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4800 Convict Hill Rd., Austin, Texas 78749. Committal Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
