Obituary of Augustina G. Castillo

Our Beloved Augustina G. Castillo, age 78, resident of Kyle, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 28, 2018. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Victor Castillo; her parents, Hermerijildo Gonzales and Vidal Govea Gonzales; her brothers, Delfino and Fermin Gonzales; and her son-in-law, Frank Quiroz.

She is survived by her beloved children, Melinda G. Quiroz, Vickie R. Nelson and her husband, James, Irene F. Castillo-Alonzo and her husband, Asension, Damiana G. Monreal and her husband, Phillip, and Victor Castillo, Jr., and his wife, Angela; her treasured grandchildren Frank Quiroz, Jr., David L. Quiroz, Marisa A. Quiroz, Monica A. Quiroz, Rosalynn N. Nelson, Matthew C. Nelson, Eric D. Alonzo, Kathryn V. Alonzo, Vanessa Monreal, Desiree Monreal, Phillip Monreal, Jr., Delani M. Castillo, Alyssa  G. Castillo; her precious great grandchildren, Alexavier F. Quiroz, Andrew J. Ibarra, Layla A. Miranda, Antonio L. Cortez Quiroz, Rudy Canales III, Xavier L. Quiroz, Jennavecia N. Gaytan, Arthur Gaytan, Jr., Catalina E. Gaytan, Izreal I. Hernandez, Elijah C. Nelson, Faith Monreal, Trinity Brown, Hayden Brown, Carson Brown, Audrina Yett, and London Yett; her esteemed siblings, Connie Vigil and her husband, Ricky, Maria Parra, and Vicente Gonzales.

The family calls to the position of honored pallbearers Victor Castillo Jr., Frank Quiroz, Jr., David Quiroz, Matthew Nelson, Eric Alonzo, Phillip Monreal, Jr..

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 2, 2018 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Ausgust 3, 2018, at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Drive, Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park Cemetery.
