Praying for my family in Texas for peace. I will always remember Maruca as a kind and patient cousin. Growing up, I spent many summers with her and all the boys, coming up from KC was always a fun adventure! I remember waking up in the living room with the high ceiling, and hearing all the adults chatting away in the kitchen, around the island, with their coffee. Maruca would be cooking away at the stove. As a little girl I'd watch, and admire, her patience with Peter. She was so kind to him, and I prayed for a marriage like theirs someday. I miss those slow, and carefree days. I hope she's reliving them now with Peter! Love you cousin!
