Obituary of Guadalupe Salazar, Jr.
Our beloved Guadalupe “Sonny” Salazar, Jr. age 60, resident of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, June 25, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Janie Salazar and his sister Anita Salazar.
He is survived by his children, Guadalupe Salazar III and Kimberly Salazar; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In addition, Sonny is survived by his siblings, Dorothy Rodriguez and her husband Rudy, Mary Jane Castillo and her husband Patrick, Isabel Shaw and her husband Bob, Shirley Salazar, and Randy Salazar; nieces, Giovanna Garcia and Justine Rodriguez.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018 with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Assumption Cemetery.
This will conclude services.
