Obituary of Martha Lugo Rivera

Our beloved Martha Lugo Rivera, age 63, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 10, 2018. 

She is preceded in death by her father Oscar Lugo Perez and the father of her children Henry Piña Rivera Sr., and her sister in law Margarita Lugo.

She is survived by her husband of 25 plus years Jose Guadalupe Acosta; her children Henry Rivera Jr. (Mindy), Michael Rivera (Tatiana), Crystal Milagros Rivera (Jaime Carranza), and Diana Yvette Rivera (Marcus Castillo); her mother Raquel Mansilla Reyes Lugo; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings Margarita (Juan) Garcia, Oscar Lugo, Eliezer (Ninfa) Lugo, Juan Antonio (Amelia) Lugo, Flora Lugo, Ricardo (Maria) Lugo, and Victor (Elsa) Lugo.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South First Street, Austin, 78745. Final Viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. with Funeral Services to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Point Community Church, 11300 Old San Antonio Rd, Manchaca, TX 78652, with the Word courtesy of Luis Preciado. Martha will then go to her final place of rest following the close of her Funeral Service at Assumption Cemetery.

Nuestra amada Martha Lugo Rivera, de 63 años de edad, residente de Austin, fue llamada por nuestro Padre Celestial el domingo, 10 de junio, 2018.

Ella fue precedida en la muerte por su padre, Oscar Lugo Perez; y el padre de sus hijos, Henry Piña Rivera, Sr.; y su cuñada, Margarita Lugo.

A Marta le sobrevive su esposo de más de 25 años, José Guadalupe Acosta; sus hijos, Henry Rivera, Jr. (Mindy), Michael Rivera (Tatiana), Crystal Milagros Rivera (Jaime Carranza), y Diana Yvette Rivera (Marcus Castillo); su madre, Raquel Mansilla Reyes Lugo; 16 nietos; cuatro bisnietos; hermanos Margarita (Juan) Garcia, Oscar Lugo, Eliezer (Ninfa) Lugo, Juan Antonio (Amelia) Lugo, Flora Lugo, Ricardo (Maria) Lugo, y Victo (Elsa) Lugo. 

La visita se llevará a cabo de las 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., con Servicio de Oración empesando a las 7:00 p.m., el miércoles, 13 de junio, 2018 en Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South First Street, Austin, 78745. Visíta Final se llevará a cabo a las 10:00 a.m. con Funeral Services para comenzar a las 11:00 a.m. del jueves 14 de junio de 2018 en Point Community Church, 11300 Old San Antonio Rd, Manchaca, TX 78652, con la Palabra cortesía de Luis Preciado. Martha irá a su lugar de descanso final después del cierre de su funeral en el cementerio de la Asunción.
