My uncle Nene will be missed by all. We grew up with him in my parents house and he saw all of us grow up. He never interfered with my parents parenting, but when he saw us fighting with each other he would say "Le voy a deci tu Nana". When he was watching football or a cowboy movie and we were too loud he would say "Vete pa ya!" very sternly with a pointed finger in the direction toward another room. His since of humor was endless. In his last days at the hospital the doctor came in and asked "what is your name" and Nene looked at him and replied "John Wayne". We couldn't stop laughing and the poor doctor looked at us and we told him he has always been a character. He loved to fish and many days we would drop him off at Shady Grove and at Pleasant Valley Street at the Longhorn Dam so that he could fish he would be there all day. Those were his favorite fishing spots. Sometime he would just go on the bus and I asked him once where he went when he got on the bus and he said "donde estan los pescaderos".
Our wonderful Uncle Nene we will miss so much!
