Obituary of Windyle Merrit Butler, Jr.
Our beloved Windyle Merrit Butler, Jr. age 67, resident of Austin; born in Texarkana, Arkansas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Windyl Merrit Butler, Sr. and Mary Louise Butler, née Hendrix, and his brothers and sisters, Edna Irene Butler Bustin and her husband, Harold, Melva Jean Butler Henderson and her husband, Wayne, Joann Butler, Elizabether Diane Butler, Terry Butler, and James Butler. He proudly served his country, retiring from the United States Air Force.
Mr. Butler is survived by his loving children, Mary Louise Butler, Windyl Merrit Butler, III, and Vivian Ann Butler; his grandson, Windyl Rangsiman Butler IV; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
A Memorial Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. A Graveside Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Union Cemetery, Nevada 9 Rd., Rosston, Arkansas. Mr. Butler will receive full military honors.
