I am so sorry to hear this news. I was out of town when this was printed in the newspaper and when I started reading all the papers upon my return I was shocked to see that this had happened.
Raquel was the salt of the earth. Such a beautiful spirit--she loved life and enjoyed life so much and the world is made the lesser with her leaving us.
Anyone who knew her could see what wonderful woman she was. Even though I had not seen her for many years I still considered her to be one of the best friends I ever had. I will miss her laugh and her sense of humor and her great spirit.
Raquel ----Que Dios te bendiga .

Carmel,
I am sorry that I can not attend your mother's memorial service today, as I am still recovering from shoulder surgery and now live in San Antonio. All of my thoughts, prayers, and hopes are with you and your family. I know that your mother is looking down from heaven on her family and her smile can not easily be described, as there is so much love in all of your and her heart.
God bless you and your family...
Your friend, Rene

Raquel was an amazing woman who gave her love and attention to everyone around her. She was always there to take care of her family and friends. The Roberts family was truly blessed to have known her and her family and honored their friendship. My heart goes out to the Gonzales family. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Charlie Roberts and Family

I’m so sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences a family will face. The grief experienced at times may seem unbearable. May the many hugs, caring thoughts and prayers be a source of comfort and may the God of tender mercies comfort you at this time, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

So sorry to lose my beautiful cousin. We had some fun summers growing up and always seemed to be on the same wave length though we seldom saw each other. She will be missed.

To Carmela, Ricky, Chone, Aunt Rosie, Dad, Uncle Henry and everyone that loved Tia Raquel,
My heart broke today when I learned of Aunt Rachel's passing. We've been gone so long and I felt so sad that I did not get to speak with her before she left us. I know that she is at peace, and that she will accompany so many Angels that have followed me all over the world.
My memories will always begin and end with her hugs and kisses. She was always so loving and welcoming in her home, and she always had a plate of food made with love!
I will forever see her smile and hear her voice saying "Mikey...be careful out there." Now I know she will protect me and watch over my family.
We will miss you Aunt Rachel.
Love,
Michael & Jessica and kids; Kaitlyn, Mariana, Sofia and Israel Serna
