Obituary of Frank L. Quiroz

Our beloved Frank L. Quiroz, Sr. , age 53, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father  on Thursday, April 26, 2018. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Quiroz; and his brother, Pedro "Pete" Quiroz.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Melinda Castillo Quiroz; his children Frank Quiroz, Jr., David Quiroz and wife Tonya, Marisa Quiroz, and Monica Quiroz and husband Rolando; his mother, Josephine L. Quiroz; his grandchildren, Alexavier F. Quiroz, Layla M. Miranda, Antonio L. Cortez-Quiroz, Rudolfo "Rudy" Canales III, Andrew J. Ibarra, and Xavier L. Quiroz; his sisters, Joann Quiroz, and Julia Quiroz; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Honored pallbearers will be Tomas Resendez, Frank Quiroz, Jr., David Quiroz, Matthew Nelson, Juan Camacho, and Eric Maldonado. Honorary Pallbearer will be Phillip Montreal, Sr.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Drive, Austin, Texas. Committal will follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park.
