Obituary of Annette Christine Terry

Our Beloved Annette Christine Walbey Terry, age 77, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 9, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Bush Walbey, Sr. and Theodosia Emma Adderley Walbey, and her brother, Gaylon George Walbey.

Annette was born October 23, 1940, at King's County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.  Life took many interesting turns, but eventually she made her way to Texas and her home in Austin.  Annette was unwaving in her dedication to her family and her volunteer work.  She dedicated countless hours to St. David Hospital and her church, St. David Espiscopal Church in downtown Austin.  She earned much appreciation from her work in the community and her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Ms. Annette is survived by her beloved children, Debra Jean Holmes of Moreno Valley, CA, Sharon Denise Holmes of Glendale, AZ, Karon Diane Bazemore and her husband, Jeremiah, of Plymouth, NC, and Melanie Louise Jones and her husband Greg, of Round Rock, TX; her grandchildren, Shannon Clarendon-Holmes, Lauren Bazemore, Jeremiah Bazemore, Diamond Robertson, Da’Vante Jones, and Ja’Vauan Jones; her great granddaughter, Sloane Holmes-Summerall; siblings, Harold Bush Walbey, Jr. and wife, Janice, Dorene Georgiana and Jack Walbey-Watson, Theodosia Emma Walbey-Draher, Sandra May Walbey-Smith and her husband, Norman, and Brenda Beatrice Walbey-Ross; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff at St. David's North Austin Medical Center and her hospice nurses for their dedication to her care.

Honored Pallbearers will be Ramsee Rangel, Jordan Trevino, Lance Rangel, Joe Frank Trevino, Jr., Norman Smith, David Courtney, Anthony Rangel and Gregory Jones.

A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2018, at St. David Episcopal Church, 301 E. 8^th St., Austin, Texas.  Services will conclude at the church.
