Obituary of Susie Samaripa

Our beloved Jesusa “Susie” Samudio Samaripa, age 85, resident of Manor was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 2, 2018.

Susie was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Matildy Samaripa, Sr.; her parents, Basilio and Candeladia Samudio; her brothers, Mickey and Matthias Samudio; and her brother-in-law, Jose Sanchez.

She is survived by her loving children, Matildy Samaripa, Jr. and wife Rosemary, Sally Marie Sullivan and husband Jeff, John Samaripa and wife Ofelia, Ernest Samaripa, Sarah Cockings and husband Lance, Teresa Cisneros and husband Juan, and Robert Samaripa; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; her siblings, Barbara Sanchez, Ramona Reyes and husband Ralph, Albina Villalobos and husband Lupe, Benny Samudio, and Faustino Samudio and wife Alice; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St.A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 5, 2018 St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manor, 1300 Old Hwy 20, Manor, Texas, 78653.

Services for Susie will conclude at the close of Mass. Her family appreciates all your love and support.
