Obituary of Carmen Arizmendez

Our Beloved Carmen Arizmendez, age 93, of Austin, Texas, was called home by our Heavenly Father on Monday March 19, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Berardo Arizmendez and her son-in-law, Magdaleno Reyes; parents Urvano Delgado and Marie Hernandez Delgado; her step-mother Narcissa Gongora Delgado; and her siblings Sophia Cruz, Viviana Gomez, Trinidad Delgado, and Francis Marquez

Carmen is survived by her daughters, Carmen Reyes and Bernadine (Hamid) Shotorbani; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday March 26, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday March 26, 2018 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Maria de la Luz Cemetery.
