Obituary of Laura A. Ramos

Our beloved Laura A. Ramos, age 91, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Facundo; her children, Cipiano Ramos, Jr. and Connie Roque; her parents, Jesus Alayon and Victoria Flores; her siblings, Carmen Alayon-Moñiz, Maria Guadalupe Alayon Sanchez, Jesus Luis Alayon, and Jose Antonio Alayon.

She is survived by her loving children, Guadalupe L. Martinez, Aurelia Ramirez, and Gilbert Ramos, Sr.; 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Guadalupe Alayon, Juan Alayon, Mario Alayon, Maria Alayon, Lourdes Alayon, and Barnabe Alayon; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Honored pallbearers will be Jacob Ramos, Eric Roque, Xavier Rodriguez, Roy Mendoza, Noel Mendoza, and Mike Salazar; Honorary Pallbearers will be Gilbert Ramos, Jr. and all of Laura's great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at St. Julia Catholic Church, Tillery and Lyons Street, Austin, Texas. Committal will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
