Obituary of Victoria Carmona Hernandez

Our Beloved Victoria Carmona Hernandez, age 88, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 08, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 Years, Tacho Hernandez; parents Zeferino Carmona and Guadalupe Cantu Carmona; son Manuel Hernandez; grandson Robert Adrian Hernandez; and siblings: Albert and Victor Carmona, Patricia Moran, and Ernestine Machado.

Victoria was the backbone of her family and deeply loved all her children and grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by all.

She is survived by her loving children: Jesse (Irene) Hernandez, Robert Hernandez, Santos Hernandez, Jeannie Hernandez-Martinez, and Richard (Carol) Hernandez; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Honored pallbearers will be Jesse Hernandez, Jesse Hernandez Jr., Andrew Hernandez, Ruben Olvera Jr. Richard Hernandez, Richard Hernandez Jr., Richard Hernandez III, and Juan Carmona; Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeannie Hernandez-Martinez, Santos “Joe” Hernandez, and Robert Hernandez.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Santa Julia Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
