Obituary of Jose A. Enriquez

Our Beloved Jose A. Enriquez., age 94, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 24, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Anastacio and Agustina Enriquez; daughters, Josefina Enriquez and Laura “Cruz” Enriquez; his grandsons, Julian Enriquez and Jaime Luna; daughter-in-law, Esther Enriquez, and his brother, Jesus Enriquez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years Josefina Z. Enriquez; his beloved children Angel (Liliam) Enriquez, Jose (Rose Marie) Enriquez, Arturo (Virgilia) Enriquez, Jorge (Martha) Enriquez, Felipe Enriquez, Juan Enriquez, Romelia “Romy” (Jaime) Luna, Martin Enriquez, Martha (Juan) Gabriel, and Alejandro (Maria) Enriquez; 41 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 South First Street;  Austin, Texas 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
