Obituary of Ofelia G. Davila

Our beloved Ofelia G. Davila, age 94, resident of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, February 23, 2018.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Daniel Davila; her parents, Cruz and Petra Garza; her sisters, Maria Diaz, Sulema Garza, and Marcella Davila, and her brothers, Serfino “Jeff”, Rudolfo “Rudy”, Joe, Rogelio “Roger”, Ruperto, and Guadalupe “Lupe” Garza.

Ofelia is survived by her beloved daughters, Patsy Herrera and Irene (Stevan) Todorcevic; her grandchildren, Arnold Patrick (Marina) Herrera, Miguel (Nicole) Todorcevic, Stevan (Linda) Todorcevic II, Daniela (Gary Carstensen) Todorcevic, and Katrina (Erik Daniel) Todorcevic; her great grandchildren, Christian, Jordan, and Victoria Herrera; Anthone, Alycea, and Stevan Kakorat Todorcevic; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2018 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2018, Santa Julia Catholic Church, 900 Tillery St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption cemetery.
