Obituary of Rev. Raul Rivas Rodriguez

Our beloved Rev. Raul R. Rodriguez, age 64, resident of  Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

Raul was preceeded in death by his father, Lorenzo Rodriguezl;his brothers, Humberto Rodriguez, Juan Antonio Rodriguez, and his two baby brothers who passed away in infancy.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years, Josefina Guajardo Rodriguez; his loving children, Esmeralda Rodriguez Gomez and husband Gilberto, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Jesus Raul Rodriguez, and Carlos Rodriguez and wife Myriam; his precious grandchildren, Hadassah-Natalia Gomez, Samuel Gilberto Gomez, Jasiel Joshua Gomez, Aaron Guadalupe Garcia, Miguel Josue Garcia, Dylan  Hoseas Goicoechea, Sara Raquel Rodriguez, Tabitha Ana Rodriguez, Kaleb Elias Rodriguez, and David Carlos Rodriguez; his treasured siblings, Lorenzo Rodriguez and wife San Juanita, Homero Rodriguez, Irma Rodriguez Polendo, Jaime Rodriguez and wife Aguerita, Nora Elia Rodriguez Villarreal and husband Enrique, Omar Rodriguez and wife Mary Ann, Orala Margarita Rodriguez, Saul Rodriguez and wife Leticia, and Arnoldo Rodriguez and wife Susanna; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. Religious Service will begin at 10:30 a.m., also on Monday, February 26. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

La visita comenzará a las 9:00 a.m. del lunes 26 de febrero de 2018 en Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. El Servicio Religioso comenzará a las 10:30 a.m., también el lunes 26 de febrero. Seguirá el sepelio en el Cementerio Evergreen.
