Obituary of Juan Manuel Cavazos

Our Beloved Juan Manuel Cavazos., age 67, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ignacio Cavazos and Anselma Fabian Cavazos; and his siblings Ignacio Cavazos, Raymundo Cavazos, Vicky Cavazos, and Vickie Galloway.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Virginia Cavazos; beloved children Rosalinda (Juan) Benavides, Janey (Don)  Hobbs, and Jon Cavazos, Irma Marie Cavazos and Miguel Angel Gonzales; grandsons: Anthony Garza, Chris (Maria) Godwin, Rene Rodriguez, Joseph (Kelsy) Collins III and Ethan Cavazos; granddaughters: Marina (Beth) Collins, Missy Rodriguez, Kiana Rodriguez, and Bri Cavazos; great grandchildren: Alex J. Hebert, Florencia G. Godwin, Camilia L. Godwin, Gisela E. Godwin, Jazlynn R. Rodriguez, and Raelynn M. Rodriguez;  siblings Pete Cavazos, Aurora Leal, Beatrice Cavazos, and Joe Cavazos; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 23, 2018 at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church, 9110 U.S. Highway 183 S., Austin, Texas 78747. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
