Obituary of Robert Lawrence Dion

Our beloved Robert L. Dion, age 85, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sigrid Dion; his parents, William and Agnes Frances Dion, and his sister-in-law, Betty Dion.

He is survived by his loving children, Robert "Bob" Dion and his wife, Sandy, and Doug Dion and his wife, Michele; his grandchildren, Amy Dion, Cameron Dion, Alyson Dion, Sophie Dion, and Jack Dion; brother, Bill Dion, and sister, Lucille Di Giorgio and her husband, Louie, and many other loving family in friends, including his long time best friend and care provider, Ms. Della Vallejo.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2018, Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First Street, Austin, Texas.

Interment will take place at a later date at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine, Illinois.  Date and time will be added once finalized.
