Obituary of Juanita "Janie" Garnica Arriaga

Our Beloved Janie Garnica Arriaga, age 84, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday December 29, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents Abraham and Maria Garnica.

She is survived by her loving children: Sadie A. Salinas, Felix (Alice) Arriaga, Delia A. (David) Casarez, Glenda Arriaga, Gloria A. (John) Hernandez, David Arriaga, Mario Arriaga, and John (Linda) Lopez; sisters Eva Arzola, Emma Jimenez, and Esther De Leon; 23 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; 1 great-great -grandchild; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday January 4, 2018 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday January 5, 2018 at Dolores Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
