Obituary of Antonia Rangel Montoya
Our beloved Antonia R. Montoya, age 72, resident of East Austin and Buda was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 17, 2017.
Antonia was preceded in death by her children, Johnny Rodriguez, Jr. and infant Guadalupe Robledo; parents, Simon Rangel, Sr. and Concepcion Garza Rangel; her siblings, Simon Rangel, Jr., Mary Mendoza and her husband, Albert, and Modesta Medrano.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jose Montoya; her children, Domingo Robledo and his wife, Martha, Felix Robledo, Ramona Montoya, and Patricia Cerda and her husband, Reynaldo; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Timotea, and brother-in-law, Roberto Medrano; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
The family calls to positions of Honored Pallbearers Ray Robledo, Carmelo Robledo, David Robledo, Jose Villanueva, Alejandro Maciel, and Rey Cerda, Jr.; they are joined by Honorary Pallbearer, Emmanuel Jacob Robledo.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017, Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2215 E. 2nd St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
