Obituary of Juana H. Rodriguez

Our Beloved Juana H. Rodriguez, age 93, of Austin, Texas, was called home by our Heavenly Father, on Monday, December 04, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Doroteo Rodriguez; her parents, Jose and Trinidad Herrera; her daughte,r Josie Vasquez; and by her sister, Maria Herrera Segura.

Juana is survived by her loving children, Mary Ellen Vasquez (Albert); Rebecca Rodriguez, Rachel Rivera (Alejandro), Alice Cisneros, Julia Vasquez (Tony), Gilbert Rodriguez (Mary Helen), Raymond Rodriguez (Sonia), Alejandro Rodriguez (Aida), Kathy Cardenas (Ruben), and JoAnn Renteria (Danny); her siblings, Angel Herrera, Mike Herrera (Orilia), Victoria Gonzalez (Ben), and Jose Herrera (Angie); 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; great great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other loving family and friends. 

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.   Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017, at St. Julia Catholic Church 900 Tillery Street. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
