Obituary of Rosie Reyes

Our Beloved Rosie Reyes, age 73, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, November 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Loera; her parents, John Loera and Pauline Sosa; and 9 of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her loving husband, Aurelio Reyes; her beloved children, Diane Loera, Ernest Loera, Aurelio Reyes, Jr., and George Reyes; her precious grandchildren, Santos Cervantes, Jennifer Cervantes, Casey Cervantes, Caitlyn Cervantes, Carolyn Cervantes, Matthew Loera, Michael Loera, Miranda Loera, Marissa Loera, Joshua Rene Reyes-Hernandez, Fabian Reyes, Rosalinda Reyes, Prince Armani Reyes, John Paul Loera Mancias, Lana Loera, Danny Loera, Jr., Isabella Loera, and Daniela Loera; her three treasured great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, John Loera, Jr, and wife Esperanza, Carolina Rodriguez, Ignacio Loera and wife Dominga, and Rachel Gutierrez; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, beginning at 5:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary  beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 South First St., Austin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
