Obituary of Mark Mauricio Morales

Our beloved Mark Mauricio Morales, age 45, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 31, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his father, Mauricio Guerra; his grandfather, Benito Gandara;  his grandmother, Maria Gandara Morales; his aunts, Irene Gandara, Lily Rios; his uncle, Benito Gandara, Jr.; his cousins Tommy Davila, Jacob Davila; his infant second cousin, Joshua Davila; and his girlfriend, Sarah Carpenter.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Hannah Marie, whom he loved very much; his loving mother, Mary Jane Rivera; his brothers, Pete Guerra,  Joshua Guerra, Dominic Guerra; his sister, Monica Steele; his nieces, Stephanie Guerra, Nicole Guerra; his nephew, Cash Huerta; his aunts, Minerva Lopez, Margie Rodriguez, Mary Helen Gandara, Eva Davila; his grandfather, Anastasio Morales; his cousins Georgia Puente (Juan Puente), Irene Khan (Sonny Salazar), and many more cousins; numerous other family, and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2017, Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 East Second Street, Austin, Texas.  Services for Mark will conclude at the termination of Mass.
