Our beloved Wife, Sister, Aunt and 2nd Mother to all of her nieces and nephews Trinidad ?Trinnie? Martinez Fortney age 80, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 17, 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis S. and Dolores Duran Martinez, Sisters Sarah Martinez and Dolores M. Nunez, Brothers Ernest L. Martinez, James R. Martinez, Robert Martinez and Daniel D. Martinez. Survivors include: Her husband of 38 years, Hoy Fortney of Austin; Sister, Mary Martinez Ramos of Marble Falls; Brothers, Louis S. Martinez of California, Edward D. Martinez of Granite Shoals and Alfred R. Martinez of Houston. Her Nieces and Nephews, Theresa L. Martinez, Bernadette G. Ramos, Sylvia Cassert, Yolanda Nunez, Phyllis Nunez, Sandra Grondin, Dolores Orozco, Denise Martinez, Margaret Colmenero, Lyssa Ortega, Robert L. Martinez, Edward Martinez, Jr., Frank Martinez, Louis E. Martinez, Ernest Martinez, and Nick E. Nunez. Recitation of rosary was recited Monday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday 2:00pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rev. Robert Becker will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. The Fortney family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr.s? Terry Collier, Kitzmiller and Michael Martin, and the nursing care professionals at North Austin Medical Center for their care and love given to Trinnie during her illness.
