Obituary of Alicia S. Torres

Our Beloved Alicia S. Torres, age 91, of Kyle, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday October 16, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents Celso and Petra Sanchez; daughter Tina Moreno and siblings Alfonso, Alfredo, Steban, Aurora Gonzales, Angelina Resendez, Velia Mendez, and Maria Sanchez.

She is survived by her children Ruby Candelas, Virginia Smith, Lorene Navarro, Mary Alice Hoffman, Susan Esparza, Rudy (Rachel) Gonzales, Peggy Arriaga, Martin Torres, and Kim Vasquez; brothers, Manuel and Celso Sanchez; 24 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

The Torres Family would like to thank Bennington Home Health Service, Austin Hospice and Kathleen Floyd and Sierra Washington for the wonderful care they provided to Ms. Torres.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2017, San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Services entrusted to Mission Funeral Home-South Side, 6204 South First Street; Austin, Texas 78745.
