Obituary of Jesus Flores Aldape, Sr.

Our beloved Jesus Flores Aldape, Sr. “Big J”, age 53, of Austin, Texas was called home by our Heavenly Father on Friday, October 13, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy and Delfina Aldape and his brother, Armando Aldape.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Montana; his children: Monique J.A. (Joshua) Rice, Alexis A. (Bryan) Seymore, Jesse P. (Felicia) Aldape Jr., Stephanie Ojeda, Jesus M. Aldape Jr., and Tiffany Moniz; grandchildren: Journey Seth Seymore, Sebastian Abel Seymore, Hannah Elise Seymore, Hunter Nathaniel Seymore, and Judah Levi Rice; his siblings:, Timoteo Aldape, Olivia Garcia, Dionicio Aldape, Jose Juan Aldape, Thelma Silva, Felipe Aldape and Mary Helen Gonzales.

We’ll always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace, you always gave us. You being there for Mom and us through good and bad times, no matter what. We’ll always remember you Dad because there’ll never be another one to replace you in our hearts, and the love we will always have for you.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas.  Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 20, 2017 at San Jose Catholic Church.  This will conclude services.

The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many expressions of love, concern and kindness shown to them during this hour of bereavement. Special thanks to St. David South ICU and IMC staff for taking excellent care of our beloved.  May God Bless and Keep You!
