Obituary of Frank C. Garcia

Our beloved Frank C. Garcia, age 83, resident of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, September 29, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Albina R. Garcia; his parents, Leonides and Maria Garcia; his son, Raul Garcia, and his siblings, Dionicio C. Garcia, Juan C. Garcia and his wife, Dora, Belen Garcia, and Maria B. Mireles and her husband, Julian.

Frank is survived by his beloved children, Albina Maria Garcia, Frank (Faye) Garcia, Jr., Fred R. (Carmen) Garcia, Jaime R. (Silvia) Garcia, Linda G. (Benigno) Reyes, Alice G. (Christopher) Walker, Michael (Monica) Arispe; Honorary Children, he considered as his own, Adam (Mary Helen) Rodriguez, Jose (Susan) Ruiz, and Edward Tovar; his siblings, Leonides C. (Josie) Garcia, Jr., Jesus C. (Eva) Garcia, Guadalupe C. (Rosalinda Soto) Garcia, and Stella G. (Ray) Sepeda; his sister-in-law, Maria Estella Garcia; 24 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the 3rd Floor staff at St. David South Austin Medical Center for their dedication and support.  May God bless and keep each of you and your families.

Pallbearers will be Christopher R. Garcia, Benigno Reyes, Jr., Raul Enrique Saldaña, Michael Smith, Pete Serrano, Michael J. Arispe, Jacob Arispe and Alcadio Lopez.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Francisco Reyes, Lorenzo Serrano, Marisela G. Reyes, Adam Rodriguez, Edward Tovar, and Jose Ruiz.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 6, 2017, with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m.,  Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m., Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow Mass at Santa Maria Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
