Obituary of Antonia Lara Hinojosa

Our beloved Antonia Lara Hinojosa, age 63, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Hinojosa; her grandson Isaac Padron; her father, Teodoro Lara; and her siblings, Jesse Lara, Hector Lara, Roy Lara, Sylvia Ruedas, and Guadalupe Lara.

 Antonia is survived by her beloved children, Geneva and Jeremiah Wacker, James Lara and Anna Reynero, Paul Hinojosa, Louis Hinojosa and Candice Garcia, and Michelle Hinojosa; her precious grandchildren, Jeremiah Wacker, Jordyn Wacker, Joshua Wacker, Izaiah Lara Salazar, Anayah Lara, Jaxson “Jax” Lara, Neveah Hinojosa, Seidy Garcia, Elijah Garcia, Nehemiah Hinojosa, and Kiarra Henderson; her beautiful mother, Anita Lara; her loving siblings Tony Lara, Janie Robles, Joe Lara, George Lara, Mary and Gilbert Rivas, Irma Salazar, and Marty Lara; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

 Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, September 25, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 6:00 p.m., and followed by a Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m. officiated by Pastor Jeremiah Wacker at Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2017, Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
