Obituary of Francisca Cardiel

Nuestra amada Francisca Hidrogo Cardiel, de 91 años, residente de Austin,  fue llamada por nuestro Padre Celestial el viernes, 15 de septiembre, 2017. Fue precedida en la muerte por su esposo, Miguel Cardiel; y sus padres, José Hidrogo y Pilar Castro.

Le sobrevive a Francisca sus hijos, Miguel y Nan Cardiel de San Marcos, y Maria Cardiel de Austin; sus dos nietos , Franny y Mary Paige Cardiel; numerosos otros familiares y amigos. 

Velacion empesará a las 5:00 p.m. el miercoles, 20 de septiembre, 2017, con el Recitacion del Santo Rosario comensando a las 7:00 p.m. esa misma tarde en Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. La Santa Misa del Sepulcro Cristiano se llevará a cabo el jueves, a las 10:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica Cristo Rey, en la esquina de Robert T. Martinez y Second Street. 

Sepulcración seguirá en Cementerio Asunción.

Our beloved Francisca Hidrogo Cardiel, age 91, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, September 15, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Miguel Cardiel; and her parents, Jose Hidrogo and Pilar Castro. 

Francisca is survived by her two children, Miguel and Nan Cardiel of San Marcos, and Maria Cardiel of Austin; her two grandchildren, Franny and Mary Paige Cardiel; numerous other family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. that same evening at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, on the corner Robert T. Martinez Street and Second Street. 

Committal will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
