Obituary of Donald Chapa

Our beloved Donald Chapa, age 63, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 31, 2017.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Chapa and Celia Gomez.

 Donald is survived by his loving brothers and sisters, Dolores Chapa, Jim and Minnie Chapa, Robert Chapa, Edward Chapa, Timoteo Chapa, Gloria Chapa, Marcos Gomez, David Gomez, and Rosa Anna Gomez and Ramon Antunez; nieces and nephews, Jeanette Chapa, Carlos David Gomez, DeAnna Michelle Gomez, Aliyah Gomez, Rogelio Gomenz, Selena Gomez, Timothy Chapa, and Mario Chapa; great niece, Yvonne Chapa, many numerous other great nieces and nephews; other family and friends.

 Mr. Chapa served very proudly under the United States Navy and departs this life with the gratitude of many millions of proud American citizens.

 Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 17, 2017 with a Scripture Service held at 6:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St.  This will conclude our services.
