Obituary of Elisa Rodriguez Ramon

Our beloved Elisa Rodriguez Ramon, age 92, resident of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 19, 2017.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Eugenio Ramon, her son, Daniel Ramon, and her sister-in-law, Anita Rodriguez.

Elisa is survived by her loving children, Alfredo “Tex” (Rosalinda) Ramon, Ricardo (Palmira) Ramon, Mario Ramon, Michael Ramon, and her daughter, Sylvia Ramon (Maria); her brother, Paul Rodriguez; her daughter-in-law, Helen Ramon; 9 step-sisters, 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, and many other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 25, 2017, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption cemetery.
