Obituary of Francisca Medina

Our beloved Francisca Medina, age 71, resident of Austin, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 5, 2017.  She passed peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Francisca was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Soto and Serafina Chavaria, and her siblings, Angelica Villanueva, Willie Soto, Amado Soto, Daniel Soto, and Gilberto Soto.

Francisca is survived by her loving children, Diana Lera and her husband, Martin, Geneva  Hernandez and her husband, Felipe, and Joe Camarillo and his wife, Chrissy; her sister, Janie Soto, 12 grandchildren, 10 great children, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Honored Pallbearers will be Joe Camarillo, Javier Arias, Martin Lera, Jr., Fidel Loza, Phillip Hernandez, Manuel Martinez, and Ruben Camacho.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.  Additional Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m., Friday August 11, 2017 at Mission Funeral Home – East Side.  Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 11, 2017, San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest Rd., Austin, Texas.
