Obituary of Emma Blanco Leos

Our beloved Emma Blanco Leos, age 84, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 23, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Jose “Joe” Leos; parents, Arturo Blanco, Natalia Carmona Blanco, and Carmen Blanco; her brothers, Frank Blanco, Roy Blanco, and Joel Blanco; her sisters, Susie Blanco and Gloria Blanco Camacho; her brother-in-law, Tande Berlanga, and sister-in-law, Beatrice Blanco.

Emma is survived by her son, Edward Leos, her sister, Maria Berlanga; her sister-in-law, Dorothy, and brother-in-law, David Martinez II; her special niece, Elvia Hernandez; numerous other nieces, nephews, and other loving family.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, 2017, Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Robert T. Martinez & 2nd St.,  Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
