Obituary of Robert Alexander Reyna

Our beloved Robert Alexander Reyna, age 63, resident of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 13, 2017. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Florine Garza and his grandparents, Alejandro and Petra Salas.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Rosalinda “Rosie” Reyna; his children, Robert Allen Reyna and his wife, Christy, and Amy Reyna Briones and her husband, Carlos; seven grandchildren, Carlos Briones, Jr., Daniel Reyna, Jacob Briones, Matthew Wimberly, Allan Wimberly, Gabrielle Briones, and Tamar Reyna; three great grandchildren, Giada Cortez, Jeremiah Wimberly, and Elijah Wimberly; his brothers and sisters, Richard Reyna, Frank Garza, Jr., Carmen Garza, Grace Garza, and Cindy Gill; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

The family would like to say, “Thank you,” to the doctors, nurses and other staff members at St. David South Austin Medical Center (CVRU team) for their care and devotion.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, July 17, 2017 with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
