Obituary of Alice F. Salazar

Our beloved Alice F. Salazar, age 75, resident of Austin, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 28, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Jimmy Salazar; her parents, Oscar Dooley and Tomasa Luna; her siblings, Lorenza Pena, Fannie Moreno, Maria Aguilar and Natalia Morales.

Alice is survived by her children Liz L. Hernandez, John A. Luna and wife Anna, Christine Salazar and husband Rob Pate, Paula M. Zepeda and husband Chano, Tommie Soliz and husband Anthony, and Felix P. Salazar and wife Shirley; grandchildren, Megan Hernandez; David, John Jr., Monica and Marisa Luna; Paul, Stephanie, Maria and James Zepeda; Alyssa Soliz; Felix and Santiago Salazar; Trey and Sierra Salazar; her siblings Jody Barron, Susie Martinez, Zeferino Mendoza, Jesse Salazar and Ophelia Arrendondo; five great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Julia Catholic Church, 3010 Lyons St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
