Obituary of Christopher Lee Sepeda

Our Beloved Christopher Lee Sepeda, age 43, of Austin, Texas, was called home by our Heavenly Father, on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

Christopher always had a smile and was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved working on mechanics and electronics, and was lovingly referred to as, Macgyver. He was also known for his amazing sense of humor, which started at a very young age, when he nicknamed himself, “worm”.  He happily entertained his family by repeatedly singing the lyrics to “Highway Man” and adding his own touch to it, “The master’s hung me in the spring of twenty- five, but I’m still alive”.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ricardo and Romana Salazar, and his paternal grandmother, Locaria Rodriguez Sepeda.

Christopher is survived by his loving children, Christopher Jr., Alexandra, Jacob, Andrew, Niko, Alexis, Yasmin and Yesenia; his parents, Santiago and Sofia Sepeda; his siblings, Santiago “Blue” (Geneva) Sepeda, Mario (Juanita) Sepeda, Joe (Adriana) Sepeda, Georgette (Mike Trevino) Sepeda; his paternal grandfather, Manuel C. Sepeda; his "Little Brother" Joe Manue Sepedal; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. This will conclude services.
