Obituary of Patsy Coker
Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law, Patsy Ruth Coker, age 82, resident of Paige, Texas, left this world early Saturday morning on May 27, 2017 to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her parents, William and Lottie Hart, brothers Bill Hart and Don Hart, and sisters Louise Wade and Dorothy Miller preceded her in death.
Patsy is survived by Don Coker, her loving husband for 61 years; daughters Tina (Dave) Dwinell and Trinette (Dennis) Gray; grandchildren April Dwinell, Aaryn (Josh) Reese, Dennison (Christina) Gray, and Brittney Gray.
She was born in El Dorado, Arkansas, eventually moving to Tucson in her teen years, attending First Assembly of God in Tucson, Arizona, where she met her husband, Don. Many years later, they moved to Texas where both daughters were living, and settled at Paige, Texas near Bastrop, where they attended the Assembly of God church there for many years.
Her life was a living testimony from the altar of dedication to her last breath. She truly was a heaven-sent diamond for our family, full of grace, faith, deep love and tenderness. Her precious sweetness flooded all around her, a reminder of her radiant character, beaming smile, and eyes of purity and truth. We were blessed beyond measure, and have greatly missed her since she stepped out on heaven’s cloud. We will love her through all eternity.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, 1101 Audra Lane, Denton, Texas 76209.
Funeral Service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 3, 2017, also at Faith Tabernacle.
Internment will follow at Jackson Cemetery, Krum, Texas.
