Our beloved Maria de Jesus Salinas, age 86, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 16, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband Abundio Salinas in 1989. Survivors include: Richard Salinas of Riverside, California and Georgia Perez of Lancaster, Texas, Melissa Cruz, Thomas Cruz, Jr., Christopher Cruz, Toby Cruz, Derrick Cruz, Mark Cruz and Fredrick Morrison, all of Austin. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great-grandchildren and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of rosary Friday, 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday 1:00pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons.
