Obituary of Michael J. Watson

Our Beloved Michael J. Watson, age 55, of Austin, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, surrounded by the love of friends and family.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother and father, Fred and Pat Watson, and by his partner’s father, George Sullivan.

He is survived by his partner of 15 years, David Sullivan; his brother, Jeffrey Watson, his partner’s family, Sara Sullivan, Steve and Stephanie Sullivan and their children, Riley, Finn, and Owen and many friends.  Michael was a legal secretary; loved food and travel, enjoying many trips to Las Vegas with David.  He loved his life at home with Piglet, Pinky, and Bitsy.  He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will held in Michael’s honor on Saturday, June 10, 2017.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until 12:00, when formal services will begin. Visitation and services will be held at Mission Funeral Home – South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.
