Obituary of Jimmy Govea

Our beloved Jimmy Govea, age 56, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, May 12, 2017.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Enriqueta Govea and his brother, John Montalvo.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debbie Govea; children: Jimmy (Maria) Govea Jr., Amy (Rudy Cantu) Govea, and Steven (Sonja Padron) Govea; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Elias Govea, Jesse “Gordy” Govea, Joel Govea; sisters, Janie and Pat Govea; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2017 with a Funeral Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. This will conclude services.
