Our beloved James Leroy Howard, age 65, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 20, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Olen Howard and Alma Estelle Alexandra, and his siblings, Wanda Stinnett, Lola McCort, Lucille Howard and Baby Howard.
James proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.
James is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Bonnie Edwards; his children, Johnathan (Rachel) Edwards and Tina (Shoan Coffee) Howard; his grandchildren, Brianna Nicole Edwards, Aiden James Edwards, Michael Dewayne Wiseman, Jacob Cash Wiseman, Layla Victoria Wiseman, and Kinsley Marie Coffee; his brothers, JD Howard and Ray Howard, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2017 with a Prayer Service being held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home – East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, and Mission Funeral Home – East Side, Interment will follow.
