Our beloved Frutosa Eureste Jimenez, age 88, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 15, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Torres; her daughter Lorine Ysla; her parents, Victoriano Eureste and Luisa Cruz; and her brothers and sisters Seferina (Grande) Eureste Serna, Seferina (Chiquita) Eureste Romo, Natividad Eureste Guerrero, Moises Eureste, Aurora "Bolla" Eureste Zaragosa, Jesusa R. Cuellar, and Flora Eureste.
Frutosa is survived by her children, Savas Jimenez, Jr., Anita Jimenez Becerra, Guadalupe “Lupe” Jimenez and husband, Edward Castillo, Theresa “Terry” Eureste Jimenez and Peter C. Saldaña, Luisa E. Jimenez, and Mario A. Jimenez and wife, Cindy; 19 precious Grandchildren, numerous Great and Great-Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 East Ninth St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
