Our beloved Audrey Ellen Nygaard, age 68, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Jane Philomena Satterland; her twin brother, Arden Nygaard, and her brother, Duane Nygaard. She is survived by her loving children, David Porter and his husband, Jordan Herman, Brian Porter, and Philip "Andy" Porter; her father, Arden Emil Nygaard; her siblings, Bruce Nygaard, Diane Hendrickson, Alan Nygaard and his wife, Mary, Gary Nygaard, Christine Mering and her husband, Ray, Michael Nygaard and his wife, Marsha, Lyle Nygaard, Thomas "Tom" Nygaard, Jean Fisher and her husband, Michael, and Daryl Nygaard and his wife, Angela; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. In addition, the family would like to recognize two very special friends of Audrey, Bonnie Friedman and Jesse M. Peña. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 29, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at 19745 Lakehurst Loop, Spicewood, Texas 78669. A visitation and Memorial Service will be held in Ms. Nygaard's home of New Rockford, North Dakota on May 20, 2017. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home in New Rockford, North Dakota, with the Memorial Service following at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in New Rockford, North Dakota.
