Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anita R. Gonzales, age 75, born on February 4, 1926 in Floresville, Texas to Francisco and Trinidad Rodriguez. Returned to the Lord on Friday, May 11, 2001. She is preceded in death by husband Rudolfo Gonzales Sr.; parents, Francisco and Trinidad Rodriguez; daughter, Victoria Gonzales; brother, Pete Rodriguez; sister Candida Rodriguez; grandson, Johnny Sandoval Jr. Survivors include her children and spouses, daughters, Ellie Morgan of CA, Dora Martinez and Faustino Sr., Mary Sandoval and Johnny, Virginia Aguilera and John, Judy Ortega and Trinidad Jr., Amelia Islas and Robert, Alice Gonzales, Melissa Gonzales and Arnold; sons, Rudy Gonzales Jr., Tony Gonzales and Rachel, Robert Gonzales and Lorena, Herman Gonzales and Guadalupe, all of Austin; brothers, Benito, Frank, Edward, Roy Rodriguez all of Austin, Gilbert Rodriguez of CA; sisters, Elvira Samaro of CA, Mary Chapa, Dora Garcia, Julie Rodriguez, Trine Rodriguez, all of Austin. She was also survived by 29 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Recitation of rosary Monday, 7:00pm at Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00am at St. Julia Catholic Church. Mnsr. Lonnie Reyes will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Faustino Martinez Jr., Don Rivera, Anthony Islas, Isaac Padilla, Christopher Aguilera, Abel Ortega, and Robert Islas.
