Obituary of Stephanie Elizabeth De La Rosa
Please share a memory of Stephanie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our Beloved Stephanie Elizabeth De La Rosa, age 43, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
Stephanie was born and raised in Austin Texas. Eleven years ago she moved to South Texas where she met, fell in love, and married the love of her life, Juan De La Rosa. Her other love was her son, Justin. When she moved to South Texas she worked for TxDot which she loved very much. She was a disabled Army Veteran that took pride in herself, her country and everything she did. She enjoyed fishing and country music, the Big Bang Theory, and her cat Chuggers. Throughout her life she strived to be someone that others would look up to, she always pushed herself beyond her limits. She had the utmost respect for her fellow countrymen, and country. Always yearning for the time when she could re-enlist into her dream job, defending her country with all her heart, mind, and spirit.
Stephanie is survived by her husband, Juan De La Rosa; mother-in law, Genoveva De La Rosa; mother, Gloria (John) Kruse; father, Richard Ruiz; sons, Justin Alan (Elizabeth Aldinger) Sanchez and Omar De La Rosa; daughter, Olivia De La Rosa; sisters : Ann Ruiz, Jolana (Omar) Erichsen, and Amy (Frank) Rogers; brothers, Chris Kruse and Adrian (Cassie) Ruiz; grandparents: (Maternal) Mary and Tomas Maldonado and (Paternal) Jaunita and Philipe Medina; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.
She always found a reason to smile and laugh, even through hard times. Everyone who knew Stephanie knew that there were always fun and jokes to go along with her company. Stephanie may be gone from this world, but she will always and forever live within our hearts and minds with her arms as wide open as they were anytime she greeted you.
We can’t wait to see you again.
You will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
With all the love in the world,
-Your family and friends
