Obituary of Lee Herman Villaseñor

Our beloved Lee Herman "Jesse" Villaseñor, resident of Austin, Texas was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 26, 2017. Jesse proudly served our country as a member of the U.S. Marines. Jesse was born in Houston, Texas, on April 16, 1933, to Julius and Rebecca Saldaña Villaseñor. He worked for Brown and Root Industrial Services out of Houston for well over 20 years. After retiring from Brown and Root, he owned and managed the Pan American Club on E. 6th Street in Austin. He was a dancer; loved to dance. According to those who knew him well, dancing was "how he got the ladies." He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Rebecca S. Villaseñor; his sisters, Rosie V. Noguera and Esther "Bunny" V. Purvis; his brothers, Manuel Villaseñor, Johnny Villaseñor, Julius Steve Villaseñor, Charles Louis Villaseñor, Joe Carlos Villaseñor; his sister-in-law, Christine Villaseñor, and his brothers-in-law, Sabastian Noguera and Burl Purvis. He is survived by his loving daughter, Margaret Villaseñor and her husband, Adam Aguirre; his grandchildren, Christopher Lee Aguirre, Adam Aguirre, Jr., and Mariza Aguirre; great-granddaughter, Frances Sophia Paiz; his brothers, Gilbert Villaseñor and Arthur Villaseñor and his wife, Julia, his sister-in-law, Lois P. Villaseñor; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Mission Funeral Home (East), 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. Recitation of Holy Rosary will begin at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 3, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th St., Austin, Texas. Services will conclude following Mass.
