Our beloved Joe Perez Herrera, age 66, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 3, 2001. Mr. Herrera was preceded in death by his beloved wife Petra Herrera, beloved mother Guadalupe P. Herrera and brother Arnold Herrera.Survivors include: Beloved Children, Yolanda Walker, Stella Serrato, Joann Herrera, Joe Herrera, Jr. and wife Salina, James Lowry and Edward Mares all of Austin; Father, Fidel Herrera, Sr. of Austin; Sisters, Teresa Regalado and Mary Medel; Brothers, Fidel Herrera, Jr., Alfred Herrera, Sr. and Henry Herrera, all of Austin. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of rosary Tuesday 7:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00am at St. Julia Catholic Church. Mnsr. Lonnie Reyes will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
