Our beloved Anita Gayle Smith Sing, age 54, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 12, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe John Sing; her parents, Robert and Beatrice Smith; and her siblings Donald Smith, Edy Smith, and Jeffrey Smith.
Anita is survived by her daughter Jennifer Sing-Garza and husband Jesus Garza; siblings Lori Smith and John Smith; many nieces, nephews, other loving family and very special friends Joyce Lynch and daughter Sarah, Nancy Baden and daughter Tessa, and Pam McGrew.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 15, 2017 with Recitation of Holy Rosary held at 7:00 p.m., Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 16, 2017, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel, located on the St. Edwards University Campus, Brother Stephen Walsh, CSC '62, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
