Our Beloved Felipe Nolasco Alonzo, age 84, of Austin, Texas, was called home by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 2, 2017. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Refugia Treviño Alonzo; his parents, Tiburcio and Ignacia Alonzo; his brother, Acencion Alonzo; and his sister, Epifania Garcia. Mr. Alonzo is survived by his loving children: daughters, Yolanda Ojeda, Velia Martinez and husband Thomas, Pauline Barbosa and husband Damacio, Selma Moreno and husband Joe, and Frances Contreras and husband Tanis; son, Andrew Alonzo and wife, Linda; and his siblings, Vicente Alonzo, and Tomasa Melchor; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren and other loving family and friends. Pallbearers are Andrew Alonzo, Thomas Martinez, Bobby Soto, Tanis Contreras, Jr. Dexter Moreno, Bradly Moreno, and Marc Ojeda; Honorary Pallbearers are Enrique "E.J." Hernandez, Jr., Jonathan Hernandez, and Tanis Contreras III. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Mission Funeral Home (East) 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Dolores Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
